Pavers are a quick and easy alternative for any patio, driveway or walkway. They work so well because they are durable, permiable and flexible. You have endless options of colors, style and shapes to complete any hardscape situation in your yard. The first step to a easy paver installation is to pick your design and colors. Remember that different colors and sizes of pavers can make your location look smaller or larger so pick carefully. Knowing the installation proccess is also a good idea.

Start with knowing your soil and what your base layer should be, it is usually around 8" of compact soil.
1. Compact your base layer and even out the terrain.
2. Compact your sand layer and make sure your sand stays even.
3. Lay your paver design, start with the main section of pavers and work out.
4. Use a fine grade fill sand to hold all your pavers in place.
5. Compact the pavers one more time.
6. Seal you pavers to make them last even longer/
7 Enjoy!

Pavers are great to use around trees and other shrubs because they allow moisture to soak in the soil. This stops roots from coming upward and breaking your surface. Also because each is layed individually, repairs to pavers are minimal and easy, just pop one up and put it back!
